Rock Star card

Hi everyone, here's a card I created last night. I used my Cricut Expression, Wild Card cartridge, and DCWV Rockstar cardstock, I then cut the wording on my Cricut using Black Rose font in my SCAL program. I then inked the lettering with my black ink from my ColorBok Earthy Ores ink pad collection tray. Once I had it inked up well, I heat embossed it with Zing's Clear embossing powder. I then added the star overlay and lifted it up off the card for a 3D effect using 3D Dots by EK Success. In creating the matching envelope I used Terrifically Tacky tape to be sure it did not come apart. Using a strong tape or glue is very important. It would be so sad for the card to reach it's destination only for the recipient to find it coming apart.

  2. Hi Tamara, sorry for such a delay in responding. Thank you for visiting me. I truly appreciate you taking the time to do so and to comment. I made this card for my son during his deployment in Afghanistan in hopes of lifting his spirits. Upon his receiving it I learned I succeeded in huge amounts. Thank you very much for your kind words. Take care and God bless! :)
